The founders of G and F Company emphasize a rich heritage deeply rooted in the coffee industry with a remarkable lineage spanning over four decades. Their journey began alongside their familys coffee business, an enterprise steeped in tradition and expertise. In the early 1980s, G and F embarked on their own venture, initially cultivating coffee and gradually transitioning into the coffee supply business. Located in the picturesque Yirgacheffe district of the Southern Region of Ethiopia, the family became a trusted name in the realm of coffee supply. This transition was a natural progression, as their profound understanding of coffee cultivation, processing, and trade was honed through years of hands-on experience.

In 2013, the visionary owners of G and F Coffee Export Company took a significant step forward by establishing their export enterprise. Their mission was twofold: to export their own meticulously crafted coffee and to share the treasures of their familys coffee production with the world. This newfound venture extended beyond their familys roots, encompassing a diverse array of coffee offerings. Remarkably, the family has cultivated an extensive network of over 20 coffee processing plants spread across the fertile landscapes of Yirgacheffe and Guji Uraga districts. These processing plants serve as the beating heart of their coffee enterprise, ensuring the highest quality coffee beans are sourced and prepared for export. 

G and F Coffee Export Company specializes in the export of both washed and unwashed coffee products, drawing from the bountiful regions of Sidamo, Yirgacheffe, and Guji Uraga. Their commitment to excellence in every aspect of the coffee supply chain has rapidly propelled them into the global market. G and Fs ascent in the export market was swift, owing to the company's established reputation and the keen interest of numerous coffee buyers eager to savor the distinct flavors of the region. Many of these buyers had firsthand knowledge of the family's enduring presence in the region, cultivated through annual visits and collaborative partnerships.

Currently, G and F Coffee Export Company boasts ownership of eleven coffee processing sites, each contributing a diverse range of coffee varieties to the company's export portfolio. These sites are strategically distributed across the coffee-rich landscapes of Ethiopia, allowing G and F to curate an exquisite selection of coffee beans.
